Organizational Flourishing Survey (OFS) – Assessment + Coaching
Gain meaningful insight into your organization’s culture—especially how you engage conflict—with the WayFinder Organizational Flourishing Survey (OFS).
Developed by The Colossian Forum, the OFS is a research-based assessment designed to help organizations better understand their team dynamics, communication patterns, conflict practices, and underlying virtues. Whether you're looking to support staff, strengthen leadership, or move toward greater organizational health, the OFS equips you with both data and guidance to move forward with clarity.
Being open and committed to pursuing organizational transformation, starting with yourself, is necessary for this process.
What’s Included
· Administration of the survey by The Colossian Forum: To ensure confidentiality TCF will send all survey invitations directly to your participants
· Two automated reports providing results and analysis across three dimensions:
o View of the Organization
o Team Functioning
o Individual Experience
· Two (2) one-hour coaching sessions with a trained WayFinder coach to guide you in interpreting the findings and identifying next steps
· Ongoing email support from TCF staff throughout the process
· Optional custom analysis is available for an additional fee
How It Works
1. Submit Participant Info – A TCF staff member will follow up after your purchase to request participant names, roles, and email addresses. We recommend including staff, board members, and key volunteers. Participant information will only be used to invite individuals to take the survey.
2. Set Timeline and Launch Survey – We’ll work with you to set a timeline and support you by providing template emails with information for you to share with your team. We will then send personalized survey invitations to everyone on your list.
3. Survey Completion – Surveys typically remain open for two weeks.
4. Receive Reports – Within one week after the survey closes, you’ll receive:
o A Main Report summarizing key insights
o A Full Data Report with aggregated responses
o Option to add custom analysis for a fee
5. Coaching Support – Your coach will guide your team in reviewing the findings and identifying next steps, including communicating learnings and a plan for transforming your organization’s conflict culture.
Designed for Reflection and Transformation
The OFS reports offer both affirmation and challenge. With the support of a trained coach, your organization can meaningfully reflect on its current culture and take practical steps toward greater health and flourishing.
We recommend that key leaders or your leadership team review and process the full OFS results together before sharing a summary of findings more broadly with all participants or staff. This allows leadership to engage the data thoughtfully, prepare for questions, and discern next steps before communicating more widely.
It will be important to communicate what you learned from the survey and a timeline for next steps. We strongly encourage organizations to commit to a follow-up process before administering the survey. Gathering feedback without a clear plan for response may lead to confusion or discouragement among participants.
Participation Requirements
A note for smaller organizations: A minimum of 8 completed surveys is needed to generate results. We suggest inviting at least 10 individuals and can help you determine who should be included.
OFS Research Process
The Organizational Flourishing Survey (OFS) was created by a team of researchers through a rigorous, collaborative process with Christian organizations and has been tested for reliability and validity across multiple settings and sectors. Responses will be included in a research study: When individuals begin the survey, they will receive details about the study and be invited to opt in or out (a process called “informed consent”).
After You Purchase
A member of our team will follow up within two business days to begin the process.
